The Music Stones

Lisa loved music and the most amazing collection of music stones. These were special stones that were hollow inside that contained the voices of other people. The person would sing into them and then seal the stone up. To listen all Lisa had to do was shake them to stimulate the notes held inside. She loved listening to the stories of people's lives, every song they sang was a tale of where they lived, their friends and thoughts. They were so interesting. You couldn't find the music stones anywhere though, Lisa had found them in the bottom of the stream that ran by the canal in the city of Wolverhampton where she lived. The reason you'd find them in the water is because they needed the sound waves inside the water to feed them and keep them alive until they were extracted and listened to. Lisa had a whole collection in her room. The beautiful thing was that her brother Darren loved music stones too and they would listen to them together. Lisa would love when Darren would tell her he'd found a particularly mazing stone and they'd huddle around it together listening to it's wisdom.
