One day Lisa found a cup. She was walking home from school and it was just sat on a park bench. There was absolutely no one around so she picked it up. It was so hard for her to stop collecting things, when she was grown up she hoped to have a big museum full of interesting things. Straight away as soon as she got home she washed it really well then wanted to drink something out of it. In fact she never wanted to drink out of anything else for the rest of her life, only the beautiful cup. So she got the jug out of the fridge and put some water in it. Water was boring but she always drank it because her mom said it was good for her. That basically inside her there was an ocean with rivers flowing everywhere and if she didn't keep drinking to refill it after she'd been to the toilet she'd dry up, there would be a drought inside her body and she'd die. As she took just one little sip, she realised very fast that the water didn't taste like water anymore. That it tasted like blackcurrent ribena. She blinked her eyes open and shut and had another look at the water inside the cup but in there it was just normal water. Then suddenly she felt the urge to sit at her desk, she had no idea why. There she took her pen in her hand and about 100 sheets of plain paper and never stopped writing for about an hour. There was nearly steam coming off the pen. Then as her hand still twitched she had to grab more paper, this time about 500 sheets. She sat glued to that chair for another 3 hours. Lisa couldn't believe it. She liked writing stories but normally only little short ones because she would get really bored and have to run off and do something else. The cup was the most magic cup she'd ever drank from. Now she knew it's power she didn't want anyone else to find out it's secret in case they drank from it and accidentally smashed it on the floor in excitement. So she hid it in her cupboard for the next time when she wanted to write a literary masterpiece. She left it on the table and her mom read it and told her how she'd gotten a wonderful new book from the library that was all about a female pirate who collected treasure. Lisa said she'd love to read it one day when she could sit still long enough. She'd been writing that fast on her ribena high that she hadn't a clue what she'd written. She felt like such a genius but only when she drank from the cup.
