This album is so clever, I reckon the cleverest hip hop album I’ve ever heard. The intro is genius. i've never heard an album introduce the rapper and aurally show me his whole life, like this, it's beautiful. The fact that through sounds I got to hear his growth from child to man. I just love him. Straight away I was thinking ’te bard’ ‘Shakespeare’. He’s the most poetic out of all the rappers I’ve heard, I feel. Except maybe Wu tang clan, I listen to for the same satisfaction, the beautiful literature, the love of words, the pure poetry, like they’ve swallowed a dictionary. But I feel like they give me more individual shots of poetry whereas he more tells a story. I think he's the most charming of all rappers, I slowly fell in love with him on this album. Funny, super intelligent. Biggie was absolutely blessed with genius. The social aspect too. ok so what's sexy about him is partly how confident and powerful he is, I mean he talks about some terrible violence that he's committed or willing to commit but at the same time he has a heart, he's doing it for his kids for his mom. its like he's done a sociology degree. This is the greatest hip hop album of all time to me because i’s a perfect example of its genius and wider social compassion.
