I listened to this last night, it was recommended on my Spotify. I just don’t understand why I’d never heard it before. I was struck by track two, Ebonics. A whole song about language. The classical music is strong on this album. If Mozart was a rapper. Then I read up on him, the tragedy of his life, this repeating narrative, genius black men dying young.
